About Text Twist Game
Word Text Twist game, whether it’s Scrabble or crosswords have always been popular. As casual games grew to become and bigger and bigger part of the market, it only made sense that these real life games would shift and change, becoming part of the Internet game market as well.
Text Twist is an old twist on a classic game, where players are given a certain pool of letters, and a certain amount of time. Within that time players have to make as many words out of the pool as they can. Simple, fun and addictive, Text Twist is a game that can go on and on for hours.
How Do You Play?
The method is easy enough, make words with the letters, but the Cubefield players can only move as fast as the game mechanics will let them. There are a lot of versions of Text Twist, some of them with slightly different titles, and as such there are a few basic mechanics that players can use. The most basic is clicking the letter tiles.
The tiles appear in the order they’re clicked, and once the word is complete players just click the submit button to add the word to the bank they’ve completed. Some games might ask players to click and drag the tiles, or to use the keyboard to type them in, but the gist of the game is always going to be the same; what can you make with what you’ve got?
Tips and Tricks
Text Twist is primarily a game that plays on a nimble mind, fast fingers and a big vocabulary filled with words that people might never use in casual conversation. However, since the clock is ticking there’s no time to open up a thesaurus or a dictionary and scan the page.
So a serious player’s best bet is to make sure that he or she has a smooth connection and that there’s no demands on the processor that will cause the game to hiccough. There should be no distractions while a player is trying to come up with the largest possible word count, whether it’s demanding chat windows or music playing in another window.
It’s also possible to play Text Twist with a partner, or with a few friends grouped around the computer. This can get confusing, especially if people start shouting and gesticulating, so it’s important that players set group rules if they’re going to play Text Twist as a team. However, it can lead to significantly more words being correctly guessed in a much smaller amount of time.
Talk is Cheap, Words are Free!
Some game sites charge players to come and enjoy the offerings in their virtual arcades. Even if it’s for basic word games that players could find nearly anywhere for free. If it isn’t cash though, sites might request membership information like names and emails, which lots of people don’t want to give out just to enjoy some basic distraction at a casual game like Text Twist.
Well fear not! Here players are welcomed, and we don’t ask them to do anything more than find a game that they really like and play until their hearts are content. That, and we’d like them to let their friends know there’s an alternative to pricey arcades for those who just want to play.
